The architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC) industry stands to benefit tremendously from the integration of lean (LC), building information modeling (BIM), extended reality (XR) technologies at all stages a project. These enable multidimensional content viewing collaboration through cloud-based systems in real-scale environments, resulting higher levels efficiency. aim this research is offer an integrative approach that combines project management philosophies, systems, technologies, tools. sections containing results study are as follows. (1) A concise review benefits LC, BIM, XR AEC industry, including BIM-based visualization support for LC (Lean-BIM) BIM (BIM-XR). This section also presents overview most commonly used wearable XRs on market. (2) presentation LBX process flow diagram IDEF0 delivery system each stage projects, design, construction, operation. (3) Two possible scenarios integrated lean, implementation suggested, referred “in office” “online or semi-online meetings”. (4) An analysis strengths weaknesses system, practical implications, open challenges applying tasks. Overall, enormous opportunity increase quality planning, understanding, performance, provides roadmap future efforts implement industry.
